Howard Clark Bainite L6 Katana

The reputation of Howard Clarks Bainite blades is widely known and respected for their performance, durability, and simplistic beauty.

This sword is long nagasa, with an extended nakago. It has a high shinogi, average torisori, and nice distal taper with an extended chu kissaki. It has the usual gentle notare hamon with yakitsume boshi. As a monosteel blade, it has no hada, but there are often fine interesting alloy banding features along the razor thin habuchi in these works, as well as the occasional utsuri like effects. The habaki is also by Howard Clark, and in his Binsui stone finish.
