Very Long Howard Clark 1086 Katana

 

Howard Clark’s 1086 works are durable, attractive blades that have been serving practitioners and collectors for many years.

This blade is very long at 32 7/8 inches, yet maintains good balance and shape with a long nakago (12 inches) as well. It has a moderated tori sori for it’s length, and and extended chu-kissaki.

It has a copper habaki made by Howard and was finished to binsui stone by him. It will make a fine sword for practitioner or collector alike.

Nagasa: 32 7/8 inches (83.6 cm)

Motohaba: 1 9/32 inches (3.3 cm)

Kasane: ¼ inch (6.25 mm)
